baby trio cream
This trio includes a Calathea, philodendron and a Rubber plant
Sunlight
- Rubber plant- Rubber Plants thrive in bright, indirect light. They will grow best in a well-lit room near a window but away from direct sunlight, which can scorch their leaves.
- Calathea- Bright, indirect light is best for Calatheas. They thrive in well-lit rooms but need to be protected from direct sunlight, which can cause their beautiful leaves to fade or burn.
- Philodendron- Bright, indirect light is ideal, but philodendrons are highly adaptable and can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions.
Watering
- Rubber- Water your Rubber Plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Rubber Plants like to be watered thoroughly but do not want to sit in soggy soil.
- Philodendron-Water your Philodendron when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Insert your finger into the soil to check moisture levels.
- Calathea- Calatheas prefer consistently moist soil, but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry.
Humidity
- Rubber Plants prefer average to slightly higher humidity levels. While they can tolerate normal indoor humidity, they will appreciate extra humidity, especially in drier environments
- Philodendron-Philodendrons thrive in average to high humidity. While they do well in regular indoor humidity, they will appreciate extra humidity in particularly dry environments.
- Calathea- Calatheas require high humidity (50-60% or higher). Low humidity can cause the leaves to dry out, curl, or develop brown edges
Temperature
- Rubber Plants prefer temperatures between 18°C to 29°C. They are sensitive to cold drafts and temperature fluctuations.
- Philodendron- Philodendrons prefer temperatures between 18°C to 27°C. They are tropical plants and do not tolerate cold temperatures well.
- Calathea- Ideal temperatures are between 18°C to 27°C.
