YUCCA
Caring for a Yucca plant indoors involves providing the right light, water, temperature, soil, and occasional maintenance. Here’s how to keep your indoor Yucca plant healthy:
Sunlight
- Bright Light: Yucca plants thrive in bright, indirect light but can also handle some direct sunlight. Place your plant near a south- or west-facing window where it can get plenty of light.
Watering
- Moderate Watering: Water your Yucca plant thoroughly but allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's better to err on the side of underwatering.
- Drainage: Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent water from sitting at the bottom. Empty the saucer under the pot if it collects water.
Humidity
- Humidity: Yuccas are not fussy about humidity and can thrive in normal household humidity levels.
Temperature
- Temperature: Yucca plants prefer temperatures between 15-27°C. They can tolerate cooler temperatures but should be protected from drafts and sudden temperature changes.
