The Alocasia Silver Dragon Variegated is a rare and striking houseplant admired for its silvery-green, scale-like leaves accented with beautiful cream and green variegation. It thrives in bright, indirect light and warm, humid conditions between 18–26°C. Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy—allow the top few centimetres to dry slightly between waterings, and ensure the pot has good drainage. Mist regularly or use a humidifier to maintain high humidity, especially during cooler months. Feed every 2–4 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser to support healthy, vibrant growth, and wipe the leaves occasionally to maintain their sheen. Avoid cold drafts and harsh sunlight, and note that this plant is toxic if ingested, so it should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
