Anthurium vittarifolium is a striking tropical aroid admired for its exceptionally long, strap-like leaves that can cascade several feet, making it a standout foliage plant. Native to the rainforests of South America, particularly Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, it thrives as an epiphyte in humid, shaded environments. Its pendulous leaves are smooth, deep green, and elegantly narrow, often reaching over a meter in length, giving the plant a graceful, waterfall-like appearance. In addition to its foliage, it occasionally produces slender inflorescences with red berries, adding extra ornamental interest. This rare species is highly sought after by collectors and is best grown in warm, humid conditions with bright, indirect light.
