The Sansevieria Cylindrical Braid, also known as the African Spear Plant, is a striking and low-maintenance houseplant featuring tall, cylindrical leaves elegantly braided together for a modern, sculptural look. It thrives in bright, indirect light but is highly tolerant of lower light conditions, making it perfect for almost any indoor space. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as this plant is drought-tolerant and prefers to stay on the dry side—overwatering can cause root rot. It grows best in temperatures between 15–28°C and doesn’t require high humidity. Feed lightly every 6–8 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted cactus or succulent fertiliser. The Sansevieria Cylindrical Braid is an excellent air-purifying plant and very easy to care for, but it is toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
