ASPARAGUS FERN PLANT CARE
The Asparagus Fern (Asparagus setaceus), also known as Plumosa Fern, is not a true fern but a member of the lily family. It’s valued for its delicate, feathery foliage and elegant, cascading vines. While it’s a relatively easy plant to care for, it has specific needs to thrive indoors or outdoors.
Sunlight
Indoors: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves. A spot near a window with filtered light is ideal.
Watering
Frequency: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
Humidity
Humidity: Asparagus Fern thrives in humid environments. Mist the plant regularly or use a humidity tray in dry conditions.
Temperature
Preferred Range: 16–24°C.
Cold Sensitivity: Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C.
