Philodendron Scandens is the classic heart-leaf houseplant, with glossy green leaves carried on graceful vines. Let it trail from a shelf or give it a support to climb; its adaptable nature makes it a welcoming addition to an indoor plant collection.
- Nursery pot size: 15cm diameter.
- Light: Bright to moderate indirect light; tolerates lower light with slower growth.
- Water and care: Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry and drain well. Keep warm and trim long stems if you prefer a fuller shape. Growth will be slower in lower light.
- Pet-friendly: No — toxic to cats and dogs if chewed or eaten. Keep out of reach of pets.
What’s included: One live plant in its 15cm nursery pot. The decorative white pot shown in the photographs is not included.
Each plant is naturally unique. Leaf shape, markings, size and flowering stage may differ from the photograph.
